BAR HARBOR, Maine — A wayward tree limb has resulted in a loss of electrical power to approximately 2,500 customers in Bar Harbor, according to Emera Maine.

The power distribution company indicated in a statement posted online Sunday evening that the limb had fallen on a power line, causing the outage. Crews were working to restore power to affected customers and hope to have the problem fixed by 9 p.m., the company indicated.
