Kentucky extended the contract of coach Mark Stoops for the second time in six months.
The school announced an agreement that adds six months to the deal, from June 30, 2019, to the end of 2019. No mention was made of any possible changes to Stoops’ salary.
In Stoops’ second season at Kentucky, he has taken the program form two wins in 2013 to a 5-3 record this year. One more win and the Wildcats will be bowl eligible for the first time since 2010.
