FORT KENT — Colby Holdsworth scored 16 points, including 10 in the first quarter, and Donovan Savage tossed in 15 more to power the Caribou Vikings to a 61-47 boys basketball victory over Fort Kent on Wednesday night.

Dayne Savage and Timothy Dassow added eight points each for the 1-1 Vikings.

Ryan Chasse and Matt Daigle paced Fort Kent (2-3) with 16 and 15 points, respectively.

At Easton, the Bears used a 20-2 run to start the first quarter and never looked back. Easton was led by Logan Halvorson’s game-high 19 points, including five 3-pointers.

Jake Flewelling chipped in with 15 points for 3-1 Easton.

Kyle Ham propelled 6-0 Central of Corinth with 19 points, while Andrew Prescott tossed in 17 points, including five 3-pointers, and Caleb Shaw netted 15.

Tristan French (four 3–pointers) and Nate Burns scored 19 points each to lead Piscataquis Community, which went 4-for-13 from the foul line in the fourth quarter and overtime.

At Camden on Tuesday, Charlotte Messer scored the go-ahead jump shot with 20 seconds left to lead the Windjammers to the win.

Messer and Maddie Bowman each tallied 16 points.

Oceanside’s Emily Gould led all scorers with 17 points.

FOR BASKETBALL, we ask for the leading scorers for each team. Also, other stat leaders such as assists, rebounds and steals. A linescore for score by quarters and a scoring summary for all players may also be added.

FOR HOCKEY, we ask for all scorers for each team and other available stat leaders such as assists, along with goalkeepers, saves and shots.
