KENNEBUNK, Maine — A Kennebunk man has been charged with drug trafficking in a case in which officials seized $3,000 worth of heroin, according to Kennebunk police Chief Robert MacKenzie and Maine Department Enforcement Agency Cmdr. Scott Pelletier.

Christopher Robart, 27, was arrested Wednesday following a joint investigation by Kennebunk officers and the MDEA, according to a statement released by Kennebunk Deputy Police Chief Dan Jones.

Agents arrested Robart after seizing a quantity of heroin and suspected drug proceeds, they said.

Immediately after the arrest, agents and officers searched Robart’s York Street residence pursuant to conditions of probation. There, agents seized a large amount of heroin valued at about $3,000 and items related to support a charge of aggravated trafficking in Schedule W Drugs, a Class A felony, they said.

Robart was brought to York County Jail. His bail was set at $25,000 cash. He is being held on a probation hold.

Robart has a Feb. 10, 2015 court date in York County Superior Court.
