Screening rescheduled

BANGOR —  The documentary film “John Imber’s Left Hand” directed by Richard Kane has been rescheduled from 7 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 27, to 7 p.m. Tuesday, March 24, at Gracie Theatre, Husson University, One College Circle. A question and answer period with director Kane and co-producer Melody Lewis-Kane will take place after the screening.

The film is a look at the artist John Imber as he dealt with Lou Gehrig’s Disease and how it affected his art. Admission is by suggested donation of  $5.

Theater auditions

ORONO — Orono Community Theatre announced that it will hold  auditions for “The Jungle Book” by Joseph Robinette, adapted from the Mowgli stories by Rudyard Kipling, at 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 7, and 3 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 8, at the Keith Anderson Community House, 19 Bennoch Rd.  Actors of all ages needed. The production will be directed by Sandy Cyrus.
