OAKLAND, Maine — A convicted rapist wanted in Missouri is behind bars in Maine.
Police say they arrested 27-year-old Lugmon Abram, who is convicted of rape in Kansas City and was wanted for a parole violation. Oakland police tell CBS 13 that police found him in Oakland last night after getting a report of an unwanted person at an apartment building.
They say Abram lost a shoe jumping out a window and left behind his jacket in freezing cold temperatures. Police say he was too cold to run when they showed up.
The rape case against him reportedly involved a 15-year-old girl.
