BRUNSWICK, Maine — A couple staying temporarily at a Meadowbrook Road home in Brunswick awoke early Sunday morning to discover an intruder walking through the house.
Just before 1:30 a.m., they awoke and could hear someone walking on the first floor and could see a flashlight, Brunswick Police Cmdr. Marc Hagan said.
They confronted the intruder, who ran from the house.
Officers called for a Freeport police dog, which tracked the man to an area where it appeared a car had been parked.
Hagan said the house was unlocked at the time the man entered.
Police have no suspects.
