PORTLAND, Maine — Police in Portland are looking for the driver who smashed into a house — and then took off.
The homeowner, Randy Hodsdon, says it happened around 1 a.m. on Wednesday on Clayton Street.
Hodson says he wasn’t home at the time, but his wife woke up when she heard a crash.
Hodson says she saw the car had gone through the garage door.
“My work bench was there and everything exploded to the back end of the garage, glass from the garage door flew everywhere,” he said. Police say the incident is still under investigation.
