ARUNDEL, Maine — York County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested a woman wanted on outstanding warrants on Mountain Road in Arundel Saturday evening.
Deputies say 53-year-old Paula Gagne was sitting in a snow bank. According to police, Gagne told a passerby that her family members were abusing her.
Police then discovered that Gagne had two outstanding warrants for her arrest.
She was uncooperative with police and tried to flee.
Once apprehended, police say Gagne became combative with the deputies and attempted to smash out a cruiser window with her head.
She was charged with refusing to submit to arrest and unlawful possession of Schedule Z drugs.
Gagne is being held at the York County Jail on $1,800 bail.
