CAMDEN, Maine — Police apprehended an armed man Tuesday night after a domestic dispute.

Shortly after 7 p.m. police received a report of a domestic disturbance on Virginia Avenue, Camden Police Chief Randy Gagne said late Tuesday night. Police from local agencies fanned out around Union and Limerock streets and were able to locate the man about 20 minutes later, the chief said.

No one was injured. The man was armed with a loaded 9 mm handgun, the chief said.

The man remained in custody but had not yet been formally charged as of 10 p.m. Tuesday. The chief said more information would be released Wednesday.
