LEVANT, Maine — A man and a woman were arrested Wednesday in connection with a Tuesday night burglary at a Levant convenience store, according to the Penobscot County Sheriff’s Office.
Tammi Passley, 47, and Philip Vicnaire, 23, both of Bangor, are facing a burglary charge, according to Sheriff Troy Morton.
Deputies were called to the Levant Corner Store on Route 222 at 11:30 p.m. Tuesday when the store’s burglar alarm went off, according to Morton.
Deputies and the store’s owner arrived to someone had broken into the and undisclosed items had been stolen.
Morton said police were able to track down Passley and Vicnaire via the use of video surveillance, information garnered from community members and a search.
No injuries were reported and some of the stolen items were recovered.
The suspects will be arraigned on Thursday.
