Funding received
BRADLEY — The Maine Forest and Logging Museum announced that it has received a grant of $9,960 that was made from the Haskell-Stetson Fund for Penobscot County and from the Building Stronger Nonprofits of the Maine Community Foundation at the recommendation of Penobscot County committee advisers.
The Maine Forest and Logging Museum was founded in 1960 with the mission to educate the public about the logging history of Maine. In 2015 the museum went through a strategic planning process that reoriented the organization to embrace more fully the forest. That process brought about a revitalized mission to educate the public about the sustainable forest culture of Maine. For information, go to maineforestandloggingmuseum.org.
