HAMPDEN, Maine — Nomination petitions are available for five local seats to be filled in local elections on Nov. 3.
Up for grabs are the three at-large Town Council seats held by Carol Duprey, William Shakespeare and Greg Sirois as well as the expiring RSU 22 board of directors seat now held by Anthony Liberatore and a vacant school board seat formerly held by Richard Moore, who resigned earlier this year.
All positions are for three years, Town Clerk Denise Hodsdon said Wednesday. The deadline for submitting nomination petitions is 6 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 3.
