ERIE, Pennsylvania — Levi Randolph came off the bench to shoot 9-for-14 from the floor en route to 23 points and spark the Maine Red Claws to a 102-90 NBA D-League victory over the Erie BayHawks.

The Red Claws have won two of three and improve to 14-12 on the season.

Omari Johnson added 21 points on 7-for-12 shooting from the 3-point arc for the 14-12 Red Claws, who have won two of their last three. Coty Clarke added 18 points off the bench while Andre Stringer scored 14 points and dished out seven assists.

Maine, which shot 50 percent (12-for-24) from the 3-point line in the half, led 31-28 going into the second quarter and extended the advantage to 58-46 at intermission after leading by as many as 18.

Erie (9-17) outscored the Red Claws 25-16 in the third quarter to cut Maine’s lead to 74-71. The BayHawks eventually took the lead for the first time in the fourth quarter as Adreian Payne’s running shot and the ensuing free throw put Erie up 82-79.

Maine later put together a 14-2 run to take command of the game for good.

Payne led all scorers with 27 points and added 10 rebounds, but also had 9 turnovers in the game, which is a Red Claws record for turnovers by an opponent.

The Red Claws shot 51 percent from the field (35-for-69) and 45 percent from long range (18-for-40). Erie shot 47 percent (38-for-81), but just 2-for-16 from beyond the 3-point arc.

Maine’s four-game road trip continues Saturday night at Fort Wayne with a 7:30 tip against the Mad Ants.
