HOLLIS, Maine — A local man is facing an aggravated assault charge after allegedly assaulting two men at a Little Falls Road home Wednesday night, state police said.

William Donovan, 21, allegedly punched one man in the face and pushed another through a window, according to Department of Public Safety spokesman Stephen McCausland.

Donovan and the two men live together, McCausland said.

Troopers were called to the house around 9 p.m. for a reported stabbing, which turned out to be a cut wrist caused by the broken window, McCausland said.

Donovan, who was intoxicated, was found hiding behind a garage and arrested, McCausland said. The man pushed through the window received stitches at Maine Medical Center, while the other man did not need medical attention.

Donovan is being held at the York County Jail.
