CLARKSVILLE, TENN. – Clifford Hunter, 94, of Clarksville, Tenn., passed away February 17, 2016, at his home. Clifford was born on July 6, 1921, in Cheatham County, Tenn., the son of the late Adam Hunter and Polly Ann Barr Hunter.
Clifford was a World War II Veteran. He served in Germany with the United States Air Force and then worked as a mechanic.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth McCarron Hunter. He is survived by his daughter, Patty (John) Noonan; brother-in-law, Joe Boulier of Bangor, Maine; and many loving nieces and nephews.
A graveside service for Mr. Clifford and his wife, Ruth, who passed away in 2011, will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, February 27, 2016, at Lockwall Cemetery in Cheaphill, TN. Military Honors will be rendered for Mr. Clifford at the Graveside.
Family and friends are invited to the family residence following the service.
