ROCKPORT, Maine — Singles seats on the Rockport Select Board and school board are up for election in June.
Nomination papers for municipal seats became available Monday.
The Select Board seat held by Tracy Lee Murphy is up for election. Murphy took out papers Tuesday to seek re-election to a third consecutive three-year term.
The school board seat held by Gretchen Richards also is up for election.
The seats held by three budget committee members — Jan Rosenbaum, Sharon Stone and John Viehman — are up for a vote. Also up for election are two library committee seats held by Cate Monroe and Stephanie Kumble. Former library director Ann Filley took out papers Tuesday.
The deadline for candidates to file nomination papers to get on the June 14 ballot is Friday, April 29.
