BANGOR, Maine — Firefighters are at the scene of a fire at the building housing Blaze restaurant in West Market Square in downtown Bangor.
Thick smoke began pouring from a vent pipe at the rear of the building on Broad Street around 11:15 a.m. Wednesday. Flames were visible in the vent pipe behind the building. The flames appeared to have been doused as of 11:30.
The building was evacuated.
