YORK, Maine — A man and a woman were arrested after a substantial amount of crack cocaine, prescription pills and drug paraphernalia were found in their car in York.
York police said they located a vehicle parked behind Mr. Mike’s Mobil Station with a shredded front tire. During the course of the investigation, two passengers were arrested for drug violations and unrelated warrants.
A substantial amount of crack cocaine, prescription pills and drug paraphernalia were found in the vehicle during the investigation.
Police arrested Jason Vitale, 37, and Courtney Quinn, 33, both of Gardiner.
Vitale was arrested for possession of crack cocaine, oxycodone and alprazolam. Vitale also had a warrant for failure to appear for a previous court date.
Quinn was arrested for possession of crack cocaine and sale/use of drug paraphernalia.
Both parties were brought to the York County Jail.
Upon arrival at York County Jail, police said an additional quantity of crack cocaine and prescription drugs were found inside Vitale’s body cavity. As a result, his drug charges were upgraded to a felony level.
