PORTLAND, Maine — Numerous vigils are scheduled throughout the state Monday in memory of victims of the mass shooting in Orlando, Florida, over the weekend.
The list of events was released Monday by EqualityMaine, an advocate for Maine’s LGBT community.
The schedule of vigils is as follows:
— Bangor, 8:30 p.m., City Hall.
— Portland, 8:30 p.m., City Hall.
— Auburn, 6 p.m., First Universalist Church.
— Bar Harbor, 8 p.m., Village Green.
— Ellsworth, 7 p.m., Unitarian Universalist Church.
— Machias, 7 p.m., Machias Falls Pedestrian Bridge.
