HOULTON — Silas Graham’s two-run home run in the top of the fourth inning snapped a 2-2 tie and lifted Houlton by Bronco of Hampden 4-2 in a District 3 Little League baseball all-star tourney game for ages 11-12 Friday.

Graham finished with two hits for Houlton while Nolan Hodgkins chipped in with a solo homer and a single. Kurtis Reynolds contributed with two singles to back up winning pitcher Garrett Harvey, who gave up six hits over six innings while striking out eight and walking just one.

Libby Hughes singled twice to spark Bronco and Max Polo added an RBI double.

Skowhegan 7, Hampden 3

At Hampden on Friday, Skowhegan scored four runs in the 11th inning to break a 3-3 tie.

Chase Malloy homered in the inning for Skowhegan and Cody Lawyerson had one of his three hits in the decisive inning. Lawyerson got the win in relief with two shutout innings.

RH Foster of Hampden scored all three of its runs on a run home run by Casey Sudbeck in the fifth.

Sudbeck pitched a solid nine innings but did not figure in the decision.

Post 51 12, Brewer 1

At Heddericg Field in Brewer Thursday, Danny Pooler tripled, doubled and drove in three runs to help power Post 51 of Oakland by the Brewer Falcons.

Connor Garland chipped in with three singles and two RBIs for Post 51 (5-3) while Jared Cunningham added three singles and scored three runs. Dylan Brown scattered nine hits over six innings to pick up the win.

Alex Maxsimic and Logan Rogerson each singled twice for Brewer (4-4).

Acadians 5, Penquis 4

At Dover-Foxcroft on Thursday, Beckett Slayton’s eighth-inning triple plated Ethan Sheppard to score the winning run for the Trenton Acadians.

Issiac Christiansen combined with Slayton on the mound for the Acadians, while Brooks Law, Nick Decker, and Noah Allen each pitched for the Rowell’s Navigators.

Slayton also had three hits for the Acadians offense, while Hank Vinall (double) chipped in two hits of his own.

Penquis’ offensive attack was paced by Brooks Law, who doubled twice, and Nick Decker, whose first-inning double drove in two runs.
