ELLSWORTH, Maine — The Ellsworth Police Department is reporting that one lane of traffic on Route 1A has been reopened after it was shut down earlier Thursday because of a serious three-vehicle crash near Moto Car, a former antique auto dealership business.
Police said at about 5 p.m. that northbound traffic was backed up from the crash to Myrick Street, so motorists should seek an alternate route if possible.
There reportedly were multiple injuries from the crash.
