PORTLAND, Maine — One person was taken into custody early Friday morning after a shooting in the Old Port Thursday night, according to Portland police.
Multiple rounds were reportedly fired from a moving vehicle just after 11:30 p.m. Thursday, near Silver and Fore streets.
We are investigating a report of shots fired in the Old Port. Just after 11:30 PM in the area of Silver St and Fore St. Nobody was injured.

No one was injured, according to Portland police. Police located a vehicle believed to be connected to the shooting a couple blocks away. One person is in custody, but not in connection with the actual firing of a weapon.
Suspect is in custody for Old Port shooting. Witnesses are asked to call 874-8575.
