Maine State Police are at the scene of a fatal crash on Route 178, also known as Riverside Drive, in Eddington.
Police shut down the road that runs along the Penobscot River from north Brewer to Milford to deal with the crash at 563 Riverside Drive until around 8 p.m.
Traffic is now reopen on that route.
