Despite heavy rain and howling winds, folks were still eager to climb aboard the Polar Express Friday night.
Kids of all ages packed the Polar Express at the Maine Narrow Gauge Railroad in Portland.
The kids and adults were treated to some hot chocolate, cookies, holiday stories and, of course, a visit from Santa Claus.
Tickets for the Polar Express typically sell out well in advance.
