A York man died Wednesday evening after his truck crashed there.
Royce Perkins, 68, was driving a Ford pickup truck north on Chases Pond Road about 5:42 p.m. when he drifted off the left side of the road and into the woods, according to York police Lt. Nikolaos F. Piskopanis.
Perkins collapsed while talking with first responders. He was rushed to Portsmouth Regional Hospital in New Hampshire, where he died, Piskopanis said Thursday night.
The New Hampshire medical examiner’s office will determine his cause of death.
The crash remains under investigation, and no additional information was released.
