The man killed in a weekend crash in Carmel has been identified.
Johnboy Mayhew, 50, of Carmel was driving on Fuller Road, between Irish Road and Homestead Lane, about 10:05 a.m. Saturday when he veered off the road and crashed into several trees, according to the Penobscot County Sheriff’s Office.
Mayhew died at the scene, the sheriff’s office said.
No additional information is being released at this time.
