At 7 p.m. Tuesday, Gov. Janet Mills will deliver the State of the Budget Address to pitch lawmakers on her proposed two-year budget.

The plan, unveiled earlier this month, proposes tax increases and cuts to health programs as the state faces flattening revenue and an expected budget gap. A   revised December forecast from a state commission projected a spending gap of $450 million for lawmakers to close through 2027.
