I believe the ramifications of this presidency are far worse even than we can cogently muster within our prognostications; we have arrived at a convergence of multi-faceted malevolence that will spare no aspect of the human experience, and the consequences will become exponentially more dire the longer this assault upon humankind continues. It is time we make that shift within ourselves and reconcile with what has to be done to preserve not only our country but possibly the world.

We must gird ourselves for civil disobedience like that which we never perhaps contemplated. The measure of a person is not determined in times of languid prosperity and peace, but under duress when all we hold dear is on the line.
