A “spicy woods cat” wasn’t pleased when it awoke Thursday morning to find itself in someone’s car.
The driver found the bobcat along the roadside in Carroll, New Hampshire, after it had been hit by another vehicle, according to the Carroll Police Department.
Well, the driver moved the animal into their vehicle, but as soon as it came to, the injured bobcat “reacted as any injured and confused wild animal would,” prompting the driver to call the police for help.
“Unfortunately, it did not survive the ordeal,” Carroll police said.
The police department advised people to call their wildlife department if they come across an injured animal.
