You might want to check on your boat if it’s been sitting in storage — even if it’s shrink-wrapped.
My cousin, Jessica Emshanov, recently spotted this family of raccoons at Ferry Slip Marina in New London, Connecticut.
A total of six raccoons climbed a fence next to a boat stored at the marina before making their way onto the stern through an open shrink-wrap door.
The marina began launching boats in May, Emshanov said, but many boat owners still aren’t ready for the season because of the poor weather.
“This man is in for a big surprise when he takes his wrap off,” she said.
