A Rumford woman died Friday morning after she crashed into a tree in Sumner.
Teresa Palmer, 65, was driving on Greenwoods Road about 8 a.m. when she drifted into the opposite lane, went off the road and hit a tree, according to CBS affiliate WGME.
Palmer died at the scene.
The crash remains under investigation.
Sumner is northwest of Lewiston.
