Sen. Susan Collins voted for confirmation of Centers for Disease Control and Prevention Director Susan Schwartz after she stated to Missouri Sen. Josh Hawley: “Senator, you have my commitment … abortion surveillance is absolutely a critical component of what the CDC is currently doing.”
Therefore, I believe that if you vote for Collins, you are voting for government healthcare surveillance.
In my view, Collins has the title but President Donald Trump makes the decisions, so a vote for Collins is a vote for Trump. If you want a senator to represent Maine, I suggest you vote for Troy Jackson.
