I respect that thoughtful people can reach different conclusions in Maine’s U.S. Senate race. As a woman, a retired U.S. Air Force major and pilot, and an independent-minded Mainer, I look for steady leadership, sound judgment, and the courage to work with people who do not always agree.
Women carry so much for our families and communities, from managing household budgets, caring for children or aging parents, running businesses, serving others, and planning for an uncertain future. We need representation that is practical, dependable, and focused on results, not political drama.
That is why I support Susan Collins. She has shown that she can work across party lines and listen to independent voices to advance what matters to Maine: affordable health care, rural jobs, stronger communities, and responsible use of taxpayer dollars. She understands that real leadership is not about being the loudest voice in the room; it is about showing up. She has demonstrated this with her remarkable work ethic, a Maine core value. She is doing the work and delivering for people across our state.
Before you decide, I encourage you to compare Susan Collins’s record and proposals with Troy Jackson’s on the issues affecting your family and community. Make your own decision, vote your conscience, and make your voice heard.
