I am writing to urge people to vote for Caitlin Hills for Belfast City Council on Nov. 3.
Belfast is evolving, and our local government needs to evolve with it. The challenges and opportunities facing our city today are not necessarily the same ones we faced a decade ago, or the ones we will face a decade from now. That makes it especially important to bring fresh ideas and new perspectives into our civic conversations.
That is why I am supporting Caitlin Hills for Belfast City Council.
I believe our city government is strongest when everyone feels that they have a voice in the decisions that affect their lives. We need a council that listens not only to the people who regularly attend meetings or already have a seat at the table, but also to those whose ideas and perspectives may not always be heard.
Supporting Caitlin is about more than supporting one candidate. I believe it is about supporting a broader vision for Belfast — one where people are included, ideas are welcomed, and our community’s future is shaped by as many of its residents as possible.
I hope voters will join me in supporting Caitlin Hills for Belfast City Council. Our city is changing. Now is the time to welcome new voices into the conversation.
