The sidewalk outside Republican U.S. Sen. Susan Collins’ Biddeford office was vandalized overnight before Election Day, according to  WMTW-TV.

Staffers found the sidewalk covered in red paint Tuesday morning. The words “blood on her hands” were written in front of the entrance to the office at 160 Main St.

Some of the red paint may have splattered on the doors, according to the station.

The office was also vandalized  in September, a week after Collins’ Bangor home was egged and a few weeks before she received suspicious mailings.

Collins faces Democrat Troy Jackson, a former Maine Senate president, in her bid for reelection.
