EVANSTON, Ill., and FORT FAIRFIELD – Ruth C. (Cohen) Milgrom, 95, wife of the late Karl M. Milgrom, died Monday, Aug. 18, 2008, at her Evanston, Ill., residence, after an extend-ed illness. She was born March 21, 1913, in Stamford, Conn., the daughter of Abram and Ray (Seigel) Cohen. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Milgrom was predeceased by her husband, Karl; one brother, Leonard Cohen; and one brother-in-law, William I. Cooperstein. She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Gilbert and Maria Milgrom of Boca Raton, Fla., and Danny and Priscilla Milgrom of Austin, Texas; one sister, Janet Cooperstein of Fort Fairfield; sister-in-law, Ruth Cohen of Cranston, R.I.; two nephews, Paul Cohen and his wife, Joyce, of Cranston, R.I., and Lawrence Cooperstein of Fort Fairfield; three nieces, Lee Adelizzi and her husband, Joe, of Beachwood, N.J., Louise Theissen and her husband, Walter, of Warrenton, Va., and Heidi Cooperstein and her companion, Michael Gulick, of West Glover, Vt.; and special caregiver who Ruth loved as her granddaughter, Nancee Miller of Evanston, Ill. A graveside service will be conducted at Riverside Cemetery, Fort Fairfield, at a later date.
