SOUTHINGTON, Conn. – Juliette Albert Tardif, 85, of North Road, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 9, 2008, at Hospital of Central Connecticut at Bradley Memorial. She was the wife of the late Joseph M. Tardif. Born July 13, 1923, in St. Agatha, she was a daughter of the late Felix and Azilda (Michaud) Albert. Juliette was employed by New Britain General Hospital for 20 years, retiring in 1978. She loved arts and crafts, politics, canasta, cribbage and all sports. She leaves her children, Marcel Tardif and his wife, Laurel, of New Britain, Conn., Joseph L. Tardif of California, Francis E. Tardif of Southington, Conn., James Tardif and his wife, Charlene, of Tolland, Conn., John Tardif and his wife, Linda, Robert Tardif, all of New Britain, Conn., Ann and Lisa Tardif, both of Maine; three brothers, Jean Albert and his wife, Yvette, Philip Albert and his wife, Jeanine, all of Farmington, Conn., and Roger Albert of New Jersey; two sisters, Francoise Sirois and her husband, Valere, of Maine and Marquarite Lapine of West Hartford, Conn.; 11 grandchildren, Nicholas Tardif and his wife, Kyoko, Andrew, Marybeth and James Tardif, Ashly Darnell and her husband, Jason, Stacy Miller and her husband, Alex, and Keri, Adam, Elliot, Brian and Shawn Tardif; three great-grandchildren, Jacey and Audrey Darnell and Victoria Tardif; along with numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two brothers, Montfort and Leo Albert; and two sisters, Therese and Blanche Albert. Calling hours were held Friday at DellaVecchia Funeral Home, 211 North Main St., Southington, Conn. Calling hours will be held 6-8 p.m. Monday, Sept. 15, at Michaud Funeral Home, 307 Main St., St. Agatha. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Agatha Church with burial after at St. Agatha Cemetery.
