FLORENCE ‘ANN’ POWERS BREWER – Florence “Ann” Powers, 53, died Sept. 21, 2008, at a Bangor hospital. She was born Dec. 17, 1954, in Lincoln, the daughter of the late Clifford Johnson and Delores (Nadeau) Chamberlain. Ann enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, family and friends. She loved to e-mail, going out to eat, and being outside and sitting in the sun. She liked her outings to the Dollar Store and Edge Video, and loved actor, Richard Gere. In addition to her mother, Delores, she is survived by her children, Ephraim “Skip” Ryder III and Darcie McCormick of Bradley, Danielle Tellier of Brewer, and Christopher and Stephanie Powers of Bangor; six grandchildren, Brandon and Drew Ryder, Zackery and Rylee Tellier, and Harlee and Logan Powers; two sisters, Kathy Wheaton and her husband, Bruce, of Hermon, and Tammy Crepeau and her husband, Gary, of Bangor; one brother, Craig Chamberlain and his wife, Karla, of Dover, N.H.; several nieces and nephews. She also leaves behind a special friend, Linda Mitchell; and two lifelong friends, Gary Kind and Sherry Ireland. Ann received excellent care during her stay at Brewer Rehab. A gathering celebrating her life will be held noon Sunday, Oct. 5, at her sister, Tammy’s house, 440 Ohio St., Bangor.
