MILLINOCKET – Abe N. Pahilan, 57, died unexpectedly Sunday, Nov. 5, 2006, at a Millinocket hospital. He was born Sept. 20, 1949, in Cebu, Philippines, the son of Honorio and Pacita (Nacorda) Pahilan. Abe was a dedicated physician, beloved husband and loving father. He was a very simple man who cared for his patients with all his heart. Abe enjoyed life to the fullest. He will be missed by those whose lives he touched. In addition to his mother of Cebu, Philippines, Abe is survived by his wife of 31 years, Maria Silmarlita J. Noval-Pahilan of Millinocket; three children, Richard Caesar Pahilan and his wife, Marianne, of Millinocket, Marie Elaine Pahilan of Boston, and John Charles Pahilan of New York City; a sister, Maria Teresa Lee and her husband, Ninfo, of New York City; two brothers, Renato Pahilan and his wife, Lolita, and Rudolfo Pahilan and his wife, Cynthia, both of Cebu City, Philippines; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Abe was looking forward to the birth of his first grandchild in December. Friends are invited to visit with the family 5-8 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 8, at Bouchard – Lamson Funeral Home, 11 Tamarack St., Millinocket.
