HERMON – Allison J. (Allen) Buxton, 43, died Jan. 12, 2006, at her home after a long and courageous battle with cancer. She was born Feb. 17, 1962, in Bangor, the daughter of the late David F. Allen and Tanis F. (Ainslie) Allen. Allison graduated from Central High School in East Corinth and the University of Maine Dental Assisting Program. She worked for Northeast Oral Surgery, Dr. Daniel J. McCarthy and the New England Denture Center. Allison is survived by her husband, William F. Buxton of Hermon; her mother, Tanis Allen; and stepfather, Charlie Edgy of Hudson; a son, Patrick Allen and wife, Erica, of Hermon; daughters, Shawna Richards of Alton, Shelby Richards and Stephanie Buxton, both of Hermon; brothers, David Allen of Lebanon, Scott and Michael Allen, both from Bangor; a sister, Laurie Bisson of New Durham, N.H.; a very special grandson, Kayden Moulton of Alton; father and mother-in-law, William and Nancy Buxton of Bangor. Friends are invited to meet with the family 3-4 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 14, at Brookings-Smith, 133 Center St., Bangor. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Allison J.
