ARLENE CLAVET MADAWASKA – Arlene Clavet, 63, died July 27, 2005, at a Van Buren healthcare facility after a long and courageous battle with liver disease. She was born in Madawaska, April 12, 1942, the daughter of Wilfred and Annette (Parent) Boutot. Arlene was known as an excellent mother and easily made friends with the people she met. She was a very devout Catholic and was a lifetime member of the Marian Movement of Priests. She made her Cursillo in 1979 and she in now living her Fifth Day with the Lord. She was employed at Fraser Paper Ltd. as a timekeeper for 34 years. In addition to her mother of Madawaska, she is survived by her husband of 41 years, Gerald Clavet of Madawaska; two sons, Glenn of Holland, Mich., Mark of Boston, Mass.; one brother, Michael Boutot of San Diego, Calif. She was predeceased by her father in 2002. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Friday at the St. Thomas Aquinas Church. Friends and relatives may call at the Daigle Funeral Home from 9 a.m. until time of services on Friday. Interment will be in the parish cemetery.
