SOUTH PORTLAND – Athalie L. Morrison, 91, died Sunday, April 9, 2006, at her residence. Athalie was born in Bradford, the daughter of Clyde and Lula “Bishop” Chase where she was educated and a graduate of Bradford High School. She married Edwin S. Page Sept. 23, 1933. Most recently she became a member of the Freeport Baptist Church. Athalie was first and foremost a devoted wife, mother and homemaker. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends. In her later years she enjoyed taking trips with her second husband, James Morrison, to Florida. They were married Sept. 5, 1992. She is predeceased by her husbands, Edwin Page Aug. 22, 1989 and James Morrison Nov. 6, 2005; sister, Lora Tasker; and brother, Clair Chase. Survivors include her children, Cynthia Hughes of South Portland, Robert Page and wife, Elayne, of South Portland, David Page Sr. and wife, Gloria, of Portland, Donald Page and wife, Donna, of Hermon, Constance and husband, Jon Stuart, of Carmel; three stepchildren and their loving families; one sister, Dorothy Winship of Hudson; 10 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren, along with many nieces and nephews. Visiting hours will be held 5-8 p.m. Wednesday, April 12, at the Hobbs Funeral Home, 230 Cottage Rd., South Portland, with a 10 a.m. Thursday, April 13, funeral service at the funeral home.
