MEDWAY – Belle E. Page, 79, wife of John W. Page, went to be with the Lord, Dec. 25, 2004, at a Lincoln healthcare facility. She was born Nov. 6, 1925, in Mt. Chase, the daughter of Elmer R. and Mary E. (York) Lord. Belle was a Godly Saint and was a Sunday school teacher at the Medway Church of God for several years. She was loved by everyone who met her, and was a community mother who was known as “Mumsy” by all the children. She loved to cook and made great cinnamon rolls. In addition to her husband, John, she is survived by six children, Robert Rhodes of Lincoln, Mary Rhodes of Medway, Stephen Rhodes of Winslow, Rebekah Burleigh of Medway, Joni Pine of Millinocket, and Johnny Page of Medway; 21 grandchildren, Tina, Rose, Eli, Matthew, Mae, Tim, Robbie, Andy, Cindy, Connie, Steve, Rebekah, Zachary, Jasmine, Justin, Jim, Melissa, Brandon, Dillon, Logan, and Bonnie; siblings, Ida Graves of Newport and Carl Lord of Oakfield. Belle was predeceased by her first husband, William L. Rhodes; three children, Mae Elaine Rhodes, Bonnie Lee Page, and William Rhodes; siblings, Henry Lord, Amber Lord and Austin Lord. Friends may call from 6-8 p.m. Monday, at the Clay Funeral Home, 7 Lee Road, Lincoln. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday, at the Medway Church of God, with the Rev. Gerald Craig and the Rev. Ralph Jacobs officiating. Spring interment will be in Grindstone Road Cemetery, Medway. Those who wish may leave donations in her memory at the funeral home.
