PARKMAN – Betty L. Tarr, 68, passed away June 17, 2006, at a Dover-Foxcroft hospital. She was born Oct. 17, 1937, in Parkman, a daughter of Hartley and Mildred (Packard) Bridge. She attended Parkman schools and graduated from PCHS, Class of 1956. Betty was employed at Dexter Shoe Co. for 30 years. After retirement, Betty enjoyed tending her vegetable and flower gardens. She loved brook fishing, spending time at the cottage with her children and grandchildren, making crafts and quilts for her family and winters at their home in Florida. She is survived by her husband, Daniel Tarr of Parkman; a son, Greg Reed of Parkman; two daughters, Rhonda and husband, David Keyte, of Sangerville, Kimberly and Robert Partridge of Corinna; three stepsons, Daniel Tarr II and wife, Sherry, of Dexter, Dale Tarr and wife, Christina, and Brian Tarr, all of Texas; a brother, Donald and wife, Edna Bridge, of North Berwick; a sister, Bernice Trefethen of Bethel; grandchildren, Sierra Reed, Rachel and Amanda Keyte, Jason and Jerica Partridge, Jason, Zackery and Sarah Tarr, Kirsten and Shannon Roy, Dalton and Stormy Tarr; a great-grandson, Kaden Gregory Rollins; and a great-granddaughter, Madison Tarr; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two brothers, Perry and Randall Bridge. At her request there will be no visitation. A graveside service will be held 10 a.m. Thursday, June 22, at the Pingree Center Cemetery with Pastor A. Maurice Neal officiating. Arrangements by Crosby & Neal, Guilford.
