SEARSPORT – Beulah Davis Carroll, 92, wife of the late Raymond R. Carroll, passed away Dec. 10, 2004, at Harbor Hill surrounded by her loving family. She was born June 30, 1912, the daughter of J. Ross Davis and Luella Sellars Davis in Sunshine. She graduated from Searsport High School in 1929 and from Beals Business School in Bangor in 1930. She was a 50 year member and past noble grand of Knyvetta Rebekah Lodge No. 125. Past president of Searsport senior citizens. She is survived by one son, R. Ross Carroll and wife, Irene, of Searsport; two daughters, Dorothy C. Choate and husband, Nathaniel, of Springfield, Va. and Nancy C. Hamilton and husband, Eugene, of Searsport; 10 grandchildren, Donna Gibson, Teresa Loriaux, Scott Choate, Rudolph, W. Ross and Dorothy Carroll, Kathryn Grindle, Larry, Larue and LaRay Hamilton; 26 great- grandchildren and one great- great-grandchild, Blake Reed; special niece, Rita Collins; and special nephew, Richard Jackson and friend, Leona Herrick, and several other nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband of 66 years, Raymond Carroll, she was predeceased by her parents, sisters, Alice Havener, Ruby Wood, Mina Sawyer, Catherine Jackson and Margaret Colcord; and one brother, Raymond Davis. By her request there will be no services. Cremations will be handled by Direct Cremations of Maine. Burial will be in the Smart Cemetery, Swanville at a later date. One may make contributions in her name to either, Harbor Hill Health care, Belfast, ME. or the Hospice Unit at Waldo County General Hospital.
