KENDUSKEAG – Eleanor M. Bell, 85, wife of the late John Bell, died Dec. 10, 2004, at a Bangor healthcare facility. She was born Aug. 8, 1919, in Troy, N.Y., the daughter of Matthew and Helen (Fisher) Whinnery. She graduated from Troy, N.Y. High School. She is survived by her daughter and husband, Sharon and Richard Wilcox, of Corinth; four grandsons, Christopher Wilcox, Andy Wilcox, Jim Hornbrook and his wife, Kristin, John Patrick Bell and fianc?e, Kristen; two great-grandchildren, Ryan and Jessica Hornbrook; daughter-in-law, Peggy Bell; sister-in-law, Marguerite Baldacci; and her special friend, Vivian Townsend. She was predeceased by her husband, John Bell; and her son, Patric. Friends may call 5-7 p.m. Monday, at Brookings-Smith, 133 Center St., Bangor. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. John’s Catholic Church, Bangor with The Very Rev. Richard McLaughlin, pastor, celebrant. The family invites relatives and friends to share conversation and refreshments at the Brookings-Smith Family Center, 163 Center St., Bangor, following the service. Spring interment will be at Kenduskeag Villiage Cemetery Gifts in her memory may be sent to the Ronald McDonald House of Bangor, Inc., 654 State St., Bangor, ME 04401.
