BRADFORD and MILBRIDGE Beverly J. Prickett, 53, of Bradford, formerly of Milbridge, died unexpectedly Wednesday, Feb. 27, 2008, at her home in Bradford. She was born Aug. 14, 1954, in Jonesport, the daughter of the late Elmer “Buddy” and Arlene (Tibbetts) Parker. Beverly was raised on the east side of Milbridge, and attended Milbridge Grammar School and graduated from Narraguagus High School. She furthered her education over time at University of Maine – Machias receiving her bachelor’s degree in behavioral sciences. She spent many years working at her career in the social services. Miss Beverly was loved by those she helped at the Bangor Homeless Shelter. Beverly worked very hard to bring comfort to others. She had a way with her to make everyone feel part of the family and comfortable. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Mimi enjoyed spending time with her grandbabies, camping and babysitting. She was an avid Jeff Gordon fan and followed NASCAR. She truly was proud of her two children with their families and careers. Even though recently she moved away from Milbridge, she returned often to the ocean that she loved. Bev was truly blessed to have met Michael Prickett, with whom she shared nine years with. In addition to her husband, family members include her children, Travis E. Noyes and wife, Kersten, of Veazie, Katrina “Katie” Noyes of Bangor, and Michael Prickett of North Carolina; three grandbabies, Madison Burnes, Parker and Hannah Noyes; two siblings, James W. Parker and wife, Susan, of Veazie, and Patricia A. Parker of Ellsworth; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Sunday, March 2, at Faith Bible Fellowship Church, Back Bay Road, Milbridge, with Pastor Ambrose Rolfe officiating. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited. Burial will be held at Rock Maple Cemetery, Harrington. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Faith Bible Fellowship Church, P.O.
