AUGUSTA – Bonnie (Dupont) Holmes, 49, died unexpectedly April 18, 2005, at an Augusta hospital. She was born April 15, 1956, in Belfast, the daughter of Rodney and Norma (Nickerson) Dupont. Bonnie earned her bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Augusta while working part-time. She was currently employed in the mail office at O.S.I., a tax collection agency in Augusta. Bonnie was a giving individual who continued her generosity to others during this time of tragedy by anatomical donations to different donor organizations. She will be sadly missed by family, friends and loved ones, but will be fondly remembered. Bonnie is survived by her daughter, Angelica Holmes of Augusta; Angelica’s father, Carroll Holmes of Berlin, N.H.; a sister, Karen Cooper of Morrill; a brother, Rodney Dupont of Bangor; great-aunt, Virginia Perkins of Belfast; niece, Selina McKinney of Belfast; nephew, Scott Cooper of Belfast; many aunts, uncles, cousins and loving family members. Bonnie was predeceased by her parents. A graveside memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Friday, April 29, 2005, at the Smart Cemetery, Belfast, with Fr. Chris Piselli officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations in Bonnie’s memory may be made to the American Cancer Society New England Division, Inc,. One Main St., Suite 300, Topsham, ME 04086.
