EDDINGTON – Burnal A. “Bunny” Grant, 75, died Dec. 9, 2007, sur-rounded by his family, after a brief illness. He was born July 4, 1932, in Columbia Falls, the son of L. Rexford and Ora (Look) Grant. Mr. Grant was a Korean War veteran in the U.S. Air Force. After the war he worked for the A & P markets as produce manager until 1964. The next 30 years he worked at the University of Maine as an electrical engineering associate. He was very active in the Republican Party and was a life member of the NRA. He is survived by two sons, Steve and his wife, Leni Grant of Gray and Lt. Col. Scott Grant of Lake Ridge, Va.; two sisters, Mrs. Rebecca Hall and her husband, Thomas, and Mrs. Ruby Rogers, all of Corinth; two granddaughters, Alena and Leandra Grant of Gray; many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents; and three brothers, Sumner, Reginald and Emery. Funeral services will be held noon Thursday at Greenlawn Funeral Home, 300 State St., Bangor, with the Rev. Robert Carlson officiating. Calling hours will be held 10 a.m. until time of the service. A time of fellowship will be held after the service in the Greenlawn Family Center. Interment will be in the spring in the family lot at Marston Cemetery, Orrington. Donations may be made to the NRA or a charity of one’s choice.
